Hey there! My name is Sarah.
I'm the owner and maker here at Olive Street Studio. If I'm not working you will most likely find me drinking tea and snuggling my fur babies.
I've been a professional photographer since 2017. As I began to think of my family's future and with the added challenges of 2020, I decided I needed a change. Though being a photographer did allow me to work from home, I've always dreamed of owning a handmade business. I wanted to work from home full time, rather than being away from my home and traveling often. Covid forced me to slow down my photography business, and it spiraled into me creating Olive Street Studio.
I've always dreamed of a job where I could create beautiful and one-of-a-kind pieces with my hands. The journey of jewelry making has brought me an overwhelming amount of joy, and I love that it brings my customers so much joy as well!
The name Olive Street Studio may seem simple, but it has a lot of meaning. I grew up on Olive Street. It is the place that holds all of my childhood memories. The home where my parents and sisters helped mold me into the woman I am today. I know that the name was a great fit, and I love that it represents something so special to me.
I married my high school sweetheart, and we'll celebrate five years of marriage in the fall of 2021. We have three of the cutest fur babies you'll ever meet (not bias, obviously). We are expecting our first baby this fall, and we couldn't be more excited!
A few of my favorite things include: fall, sweaters, candles, cats, tea, rainy days, twinkle lights, and binging tv shows. I'm the person that you'll see wearing a sweater year-round, because I live for fall!
I'm so happy to have you here! Your support means the world to me.
